01 · ABOUT ME
Krzysztofa Charyton, LL.M.
I am Krzysztofa Charyton, a lawyer in Berlin specializing in labor law and with a particular focus on German-Polish issues.
As a self-employed lawyer and in-house counsel, I combine legal precision with practical business experience. I advise employees, employers, start-ups and companies personally, pragmatically and on equal terms – in German, Polish and English.
My path
Two legal systems. One clear view.
My path into employment law is international and today connects law firm, company and two legal systems.
I am a lawyer admitted to practice in Germany and trained in both German and Polish law. My studies took me to the European University Viadrina, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and I spent a period of time abroad in England.
In addition to the German first and second state examinations, I have earned a Master's degree in Polish law as well as an LL.M. in German and Polish law. I further deepened my specialization in labor law by completing the specialist lawyer training course in labor law.
My legal career began in corporate law and M&A, where I advised companies and founders on commercial law issues.
Since 2024, my focus has been on employment law. As in-house legal counsel, I advise on employment law issues in Germany and Poland within an international corporate environment. This includes, among other things, employment contracts, dismissals, settlements, litigation, and collective bargaining law matters.

Two perspectives.
One clear strategy.
In my practice, I advise and represent both employees and employers, in out-of-court negotiations and before the labour courts. This dual perspective enables me to understand the needs of businesses and HR teams, as well as the position of employees for whom dismissal or a workplace conflict may have serious personal and financial consequences.
My advice therefore goes beyond a purely legal assessment. I first seek to understand the outcome you wish to achieve. I then explain the available options clearly, including their potential benefits and risks. Together, we develop a strategy tailored to your specific situation.
I advise clients in German, Polish and English - in person in Berlin and online throughout Germany.
